This month it’s about being more intentional. Often we are so worried about capturing the day, that we forget about really taking the time to frame our photos. Of course, there are those times during any wedding day when we’re literally running while snapping pictures, so I’ll let you off the hook for those 🙂
When I used to work with my associates during wedding assignments, I would often remind them to SLOW DOWN, take a breath, and most importantly, look in all four corners of the frame. Taking the time to properly frame your photo can drastically improve the impact of your images. Sometimes, I would find myself readjusting up, down, left, or right, and the results can make a huge difference.
Try this for your next assignment! Just think of me standing next to you asking, “Did you look in all four corners of the frame?” My past assistants say they still hear my voice sometimes. I’m sure it’ll work for you too!
